This is heaps of fun. Never played the original, but I'll definitely be getting this.

Got the same kind of vibe as Garden Warfare. A nice bit of relief.

EDIT: Spotted a nice bit of graffiti - The cake is ally.

Is there anything that shows which team is leading the global game?

Loves us all since 2008

Anyone keep getting disconnect issues? Had a few games and it feels great!

I've had a few people dropping out mid-game but it's not as bad as it was with the global testfire.

I'd forgotten how fun this game could be and I'm really loving the battle music.

Also, Marina.

For some reason I wasn't really feeling this over the past few weeks but now I'm keen to give it a go!

I barely played the U version and I'm a little apprehensive that, as with most online shooters, new/casual players are just gonna get constantly mashed. I'm planning to risk it and try it out, though.

I struggled trying to play it in handheld mode and I had whacked the sensitivity right up and it was too much (no motion controls) performed better in docked mode. Looking forward to someone jizzing their ink all over me next week!

I think the main thing with Splatoon is, no matter what your skill level, you still make a difference to your team. The main object is to cover as much of the map in your colour paint, anyone can do it and still add to the team and have a fun experience doing so

It's probably the most balanced game in this respect I've ever played. The matchmaking is also very good. One good player can easily lead an average team.

Camping a sniping are also dealt with pretty quickly. It's not playing the game.

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."

I have missed every one of the tests so far.

Might have to wait till I get paid before I can pick this up. I'll see what my cash flow is like on Friday I guess.

Hopefully I'll be able to Stay Fresh!
