Using Spotify Unlimited for a free trial, it's nice.

I was trying to check out the pricing, but the web site is telling me Spotify isn't available in my country :fp:

I thought Spotify Premium was £9.99, and Unlimited was something like £4. After signing up for the free trial I'll automatically get billed for Premium when it runs out, but I want to be on Unlimited instead and I can't see how to change it.

Log into the website, and click on your username in the top right. Choose "Subscription" from the drop down list, and then go to the cancellation page. There's a link there to switch to Spotify Unlimited instead of cancelling.

I enjoyed using Spotify for the free music but I can't see the point in paying a monthly fee when I can just pay for the CDs. It would work out cheaper for me, at least, in the long term because I didn't listen to a large number of albums.

Bit stuck now. I listen to shitloads of music, at least 6-7 hours a day, so Id get the use out of Spotify, but its just an utter pain.

I do hate having to pay for that, then having to download my music for my phone elsewhere anyway.

you could use the £10 service to put the songs on your phone too? but £10 a month is a lot of money.

Amazon are really good for MP3 downloads, they seem to be much cheaper than Itunes aswell.

Has anyone signed up to this free trial? If I put my Visa card details in and sign up for it, can I instantly cancel it and still use the trial for a week?

I've signed up for the trial. I was really happy to be able to sync a load of music to my phone before going for a 5k run. I'm kind of bothered by the idea that I will never buy another album again if I continue to pay £10 a month for the service but I think its kind of worth it for me as I have an eclectic taste in music and like to listen to a lot of different stuff.

I've starred around 200 songs without really trying to save to for offline syncing.

It's great: no audio ads (or any interruptions to your music at all in fact), it's all done in-browser, there's at least as much music as Spotify...about the only disadvantage I can see is that you need to jailbreak to get the iPhone app (which I'm not fussed about).

Why anyone would pay for Spotify Unlimited over this I have no idea.
