Did Spyro always have an obnoxious voice or has that been added in?

He did speak, yes. It doesn't stick in the mind though; I remember the on-screen text and having to press X to move it along more than the voice-overs.

I do vaguely recall the PS2 versions being voiced by I think some bloke from Lord of the Rings.

Yeah I've just watched some footage of the original and it seems that yes, he did always speak in that voice. :dread: Hopefully there's an option to turn it off.

I wonder, is it the same PS1 recordings remastered or have they got the same bloke to redo it?

I hope that later morphs into a demo with the same parameters as the original.

Day some point next year when it's on sale and then I'll probably never play it

It’s also coming to Switch as it has been leaked on Nintendo Store earlier on, but they took it down very quickly.

Stewart Copeland...the drummer from The Police...quite possibly one of the most innovative and forward thinking sticksman going...did the soundtrack to Spyro the Dragon.

The demo is a lovely touch

Have no doubt it will come to Switch too, guessing it will be announced in a Direct/after the Crash trilogy comes out.

Day one for me, looks amazing. Horrible box-art though

So in for this, the originals were probably my favourite series of games when I was 10 and under. Have gone back to them a couple of times since then and still love them despite the choppy graphics and slightly awkward controls.

Will probably pay Switch tax for the portability factor too.

As much as I enjoyed them when I was younger, I thought
I wouldn't be interested now, then I saw the trailer. Count me in.
