I didn't realize Sparx pointed to missing gems until late in the game, so up until that point I had an awful time searching the last one(s) down.

I picked this up this morning but forgot about most of the content coming via a massive patch. I’ve left it downloading all afternoon so hopefully at some point today I might get to play it.

First game is great but personally it goes down hill after that. Probably better if you don’t care for trophies

How good is the menu music! :datass:

Turned the sound system right up and had the beat annoying the neighbours (probably) for a good ten minutes.

Playing this on the Pro and the sporadic slowdown seems to be pretty noticeable. It only lasts less than a second but it happens quite a bit when moving the camera about.

Happy they’re fixing Spyro 3. Looks like I jumped in at the correct moment!

Looks like they Switch version will require "extra" space as well.

http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2019/07/this_might_be_the_actual_file_size_for_the_spyro_reignited_trilogy_on_switch

The Spyro Reignited Trilogy is due out on the Switch this September, but there's still some confusion about the physical copies of the game and if they will require an additional download. In June, retail listings in North America suggested an additional download would be necessary and in Europe, there was no mention of this on the game's box art.

While it's still unclear what exactly is going with the physical release and whether or not it will require a hefty day one download, the listings on the Switch eShop in the US and UK have now seemingly confirmed the file size of the digital version of the game. The details section of the page notes how the trilogy will require 15GB of free space.

Twitter user NWPlayer123 adds to this, stating how the Nintendo.com listing (6.3GB) does not take into account the "9GB update", which will presumably add in the additional games. This means the Switch physical release would likely be similar to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version – where users received the first game on the disc and were required to download the other two titles.

Is this a case of ‘we don’t want to spend money on a bigger cart’?
