Release date 5th September, shame it's still quite a while off.

Very interested to see how they translate the experience from PC to console. They are very much built in a way that revolves around the KB+M input and the UI is also very much not designed for TV play.

I love stalker but it’s a very distinct gaming experience. It feels clunky and a bit obtuse in ways that modern games don’t, not sure how it would translate to consoles. Definitely not a western FPS experience that some may be expecting. It’s almost a precursor to the survival crafting genre with some truly great horror moments.

It looks like there's a pricing error on the PS store currently and you can get the trilogy for £15.99.

Whats so complex about the controls? I mean, I play DayZ which is almost like an online STALKER game. I have to load up the correct clips that go with the correct guns with individual bullets that fit that clip etc, cook food, hunt animals, go to military camps for better loot (strawberry floating terrifying knowing your on a server with 70players, loot houses, dead Zeds and other players if you down them.

The gameplay of STALKER is totally my jam tho, and it looks at least like its 60fps. i might try the first one over the weekend as a teaser.

EDIT: It’s 4K/60 on Series X, presumably the same on PS5.

Not a big fan of shooting a dog/enemy dude in the face like 5 times before they die… thought this was hardcore… you and enemies die FAST.

This is fixed in difficulty apparently.
