Well the second "2800" episode was a load of yawn wasn't it.

That said it was nice to visit Bajor (my characters home world) and I especially liked using the Celestial Orb to meet the Prophets.

There was too much "Go to place, interact with specific object, repeat 4/5 times" and not enough actual stuff happening.

Hopefully the next one will be a bit more interesting. :D

It's a good little scene setter, but not worth a week's wait.

Also - some of the mission choices are odd. Talk to the Prohpets to find out why the fleet's returned, or play with dirt?

Also it's bugged (sometimes) at the end, so you don't see the end of the chat with DS9

Anybody know where this Memory First/Alpha place is? I'm trying to deliver some samples there for the chief science guy on Earthdock but I've no idea where it is.

I've set the permissions so that everyone should be able to take items out of the bank. Let me know if this isn't the case. If stuff is sitting around after everyone makes Admiral, I'll flog it for extra bank credit. :shifty:

I've just set up my fleet escort to do pure dps. Means I generally sacrifice the pure speed and manoeuvrability, but it does mean I can destroy most things Borg. 8-)

Up front:
3 x Antiproton Dual Heavy Cannons Mk XI
1 x Quantum Torpedo Launcher Mk XI

Up back:
1 x Phaser Turret Mk XI
1 x Antiproton Turret Mk X
1 x Cloaking Tractor Mines

With tactical consoles focusing on antiproton and quantum. If anyone is looking at an STF build for tactical I'd check this out: http://forums.startrekonline.com/showth ... p?t=244532

Pfft.

Advance Escort (Promethus!)

Upfront - 3x Dual AntiProton Canon XI, 1x Dual Heavy Anti Proton Cannon XII
Rear - 3x Anti Proton Turret XI

8-)

Specced for massive energy weapon damage, tac team I constantly up, and spread or rapid cannon fire up constantly too.

If you get infront it it, you're dead.

Mirror Event at 10pm tonight. Would be good to get a posse together and do that a few times. Anyone up for it?

Well, I've finished the Klingon Wars series, and unlocked Klingon playable characters, I doubt I'll spend much time on that side, but it'll be nice to try something a bit different. Going to go down the heavy cruiser/carrier line with them, instead of the escort I have for Fed. Hmm, it seems that everyone else has gone Escort too...... :shifty:

This really is a very pretty game sometimes. In space at least!

The latest ep was so gash, I was happy that it was over. Still, not as bad as last weeks.

Not sure it was gash - but it was horribly padded out.

ice and story based though - wish the choice at the end had some consequence, but that's hard with a MMO

Sad thing is - I'll prob run 3 times for the rewards :fp:

I'm trying to get to 50 before the episodes finish so I can go and do them all again to get the jem hadar gear at max level etc, it's quite a slog.

decided to start a klingon guy last night and im enjoying it although the missions seem a bit more dull compared with the fed ones. Also its odd not having a silly amount of credits and stuff like i do with my fed guy but at least im working towards something now

I'm finding it an interesting change of pace - went for battle cruisers as a contrast to my fed escort - although after playing one for a while I switch back and go "Oh god, what do all these skills do?"

I was in the middle of a perfectly-timed Mirror Universe event when it crapped out. Oh well, hopefully things will be back this evening.

I tried again at midnight, and everything was working again.

Well I thought the new episode was quite good.

All ground combat (although the battle at the end looked cool :P) - but some nice chats with various NPCs along the way.
