According to SD bound items are fine and not a plague on us all.

They pretty much became superfluous as soon as it became impossible to loot another players corpse. Now, they're just a way to keep the economy in hand.

I probably should get on with some research/crafting, but it's such a chore to slide over to memory alpha and piss about with schematics etc. I'll be on this tonight, so may give it more of a go. Will accept any unwanted research items.

I've got a whole load of reseach data to shunt into the fleet bank. I kept meaning to visit Memory Alpha to actually do something with it, but you know. :shifty:

A guy I work with (who has been playing STO since day one) says they'll be releasing an update that allows you to do R&D within your own ship. Which would make sense.

Any chance people could sell stuff like Regenerators and Components and chuck the cash in the fleet bank? More money = more bank space, and also keeping those outs also means we can swap more consoles and weapons.

Also, strawberry float off Cardassian lock boxes. :x

:fp: I forgot to get on with crafting last night, mainly due to time constraints. I will get on with it most likely over the weekend, and will gladly become the fleet's crafter if it means getting rid of all the stuff in storage and actually doing something with it. Of course all stuff made purely to get up to higher levels will either A) go back into storage or if it's completely useless to anyone B) sold and the cash put in to expand the fleet bank.

...I guess with no complaints I can get on and craft the components we have then? Otherwise, as with other MMOs with shared banks, the stuff will sit there and never get used. Plus it means in future if we need any higher-up stuff made it won't be a problem.

Did the first time travel mission with the Devidians and the comet, I was pretty impressed, the end was quite dramatic. Hopefully the quality keeps up with the rest of the content. Almost L20, so will soon be getting my Akira class \o/

I loved that one. So many missions with good storyline to them but that one has to be my highlight so far. Right now I'm working through the Romulan stuff, which isn't quite as fun as the Klingon War but it's not bad at all.

I also found out that my laptop is perfectly capable of running this, which was a very pleasant surprise. I need to turn down some of the graphics settings but it runs nice and smoothly. :D

In other news I'm moving house in a week so I won't be about much for the next 7 days. After that I won't be about at all until I get my internet set up again and I get some spare time. :(

I did a few stf's last night and I would swear the cardassian drop boxes are reducing in number.

Should we get some STFs going at 10 tonight? I'm pretty sure we have a few people who are high enough level to do it.

Also, we should do a Mirror event soon.

I'm probably going to be doing a fair bit of housekeeping this evening - hitting L20, getting my heavy escort, designing it, promoting/training bridge officers, reorganising duty officers, getting on with crafting etc. As and when I'm high enough level I'll gladly take part, providing it happens at a time when I can actually do so. I'm glad the events don't rotate exactly the same each day.
