The episode structuring is purely to keep people subscribed for longer. I like your idea Alvin, I think it would work from.a viewer perspective but Disney won't like it.

I actually like the weekly structure for this, it gives me something to look forward to on Wednesdays over a longer period. I don't mind binge watching either but I usually forget everything. I get that I could just wait, but I like to see all I can right away and then talk about it lol.

I'm convinced I wouldn't be thinking about Andor during the week nearly as much if it wasn't released weekly.

It gives me a chance to ruminate on the weeks episode and also helps build anticipation for the next episode.

Just caught up with episode 10 and it continues to be brilliant in every way, as already mentioned there is amazing performances from Serkis and Skarsgard, the closing monologue from Skarsgard in particular gave me the chills.

I do wonder what will happen with Serkis’s character, sure he can’t swim but surely if he stays at the facility he’s dead anyway when the empire arrives to sort it out, so surely risking the swim would have been the better option regardless?

Andy Serkis is phenomenal. Is he secretly the best current British actor?

You would think on your second part:

He might not be able to swim but there's literally thousands of prisoners who can, many of them would easily be able to band together and help the people who can't back to shore. I get the emotional impact of him maybe being left behind or left for dead but I can't see any logical reason for him to have to die there like that.

Especially when part of his speech was about others helping those who look lost, which he definitely did at the end of the episode so you’d like to think he’d have got some help.

If you don't see him die he is not dead.

No lightsabers and not a single mention of the Force.

It would probably work a lot better for animated series', where episodes don't typically exceed 22-23 minutes. Clone Wars S7 and Bad Batch S1, the main examples in my mind, would have benefited immensely from multi-episode weekly drops, and I think their critical reception would've improved a lot too.

Another good episode, had some great moments in there Luthen nearly getting boarded, Luthen’s interaction with Saw, B2EMO was great, but at the same time it did feel like it was getting things ready for the final episode next week. Can’t wait, this has been the best series they’ve done so far. Although (Kenobi spoilers) I don’t know if anything in the final episode will match the final dual in Kenobi between Obi-Wan and Anakin.

B2EMO going in straight to number 1 in the Star Wars droid list.

Some unexpected emotional investment in this week's episode, right where I didn't expect it. Wonderful action as well.

Very glad to finally see the 1975 McQuarrie concept of the Star Destroyer finally incorporated into the canon. Solo was going to feature it, in Han's Imperial Academy scenes, but all of that got cut, sadly.

Hard to believe next week is the season finale, and the halfway point in the show as a whole. I'm not ready for it to end.

I get the feeling Marva isn't actually dead and this is a way to stage some form of attack against the imps. She's been planning her own rebellion and faking her own death to give them an opportunity to take out the outpost would be cool as hell. B2 also can't lie so they couldn't tell him the truth or something

All in all she's just a-nother brick in the wall.

Quite a few people on twitter seem to think so. One or two have suggested it might be a double bladed one, maybe Sith
