I don't think it'd be the worst thing at all. All they need to do is write it well and there's like 0 issues.

I thought this was quite neat. (I didn't want to post it elsewhere as there are some spoilers in there).

It would be immensely boring and would undermine this show being about what ordinary people, even members of the political elite, have to do to start a rebellion against a fascist empire and the good fortune required to survive that. Making everything the machinations of a super being would bring it all back to that narrow and simplistic view of Jedi vs Sith that we're familiar with, when this show has done the most out of anything related to Star Wars to broaden our view of the overall setting.

Making him a Sith that presumably wants to overthrow Palpatine and become emperor himself would just amount to the cliche of both sides being as bad as each other and violent revolution being inherently the incorrect, immoral choice, rather than showing what fighting for a cause can cost, which is what that amazing scene on the walkway should be about.

That was a really good episode. There is a end credit scene just to make people aware.

The slow build in tension through the episode and the inevitable release.

Mon setting her husband up to cover for the lost money. I think the arranged marrige is there to make sure her daughter is "safe" as things get worse in the empire.

Maarvas speach was so good with the culmination of the fighting.

So we know what they were building, looks like braces for the solar panels of the Death star.

Brass bands being Starwars canon is quite nice. :lol:

I think this has been one of the best recent TV series released, Starwars or not.

It absolutely was a fantastic ending. Can't wait for season 2.

That was tremendous.

First we got Serkis, then we got Skarsgard and then Fiona Shaw tops it with another great monologue. The writing in this has been absolutely on point. Really did think Luthen was a goner by the end of season 1.

Roll on season 2.

Fantastic final episode.

The series as a whole is an easy 10/10. Brilliant from beginning to end.

Just finished this, superb doesn’t quite do it justice really! Fantastic performances all round, nicely sets up series 2 as well.

Can’t quite believe I work with someone who just doesn’t like this, it’s by far the best overall series they’ve done for Star Wars so far, I keep telling them to watch it but they seem to have made their mind up after 3 or 4 episodes.

We all caught that post credits scene, right? :shifty:

Really good episode, loved the tension building up, the presence of the ISB being shown off, the new riot police/trooper units, the brass band, the cathartic release and Andor's theme being a version of his adoptive mother's funerary march.
