So is season 2 going to finish where Rogue One starts?

Also Mon Mothma - cant Vel just give her some of the heist money to cover her?

I believe thats what they said.

I think it'll have to jump about more to make the 5 (?) years up.

Just give us 5 seasons you cowards.

The authorities would ask where the money went and then they would ask where the money came from after it's hiatus. If you told them it was a loan for a friend they would just need to look at their finances to prove you lied. I bet the Empires tax collectors are true jobsworths.

You follow drugs, you get drug addicts and drug dealers. But you start to follow the money, and you don't know where the strawberry float it's gonna take you. - Lester Freeman.

I heard that it was originally supposed to be 5 seasons with 6 episodes apiece, but they trimmed it down to 2 seasons with 12 episodes each. So, we're only really missing 6 episodes of development in all, or one arc per year.

Each three episode arc of season two will be set a year apart, counting down to Rogue One, so the intro next season will presumably have to be set a year after season one's finale. Cassian is going to be a more seasoned operative.

One of those arcs might include whatever horrific injuries took Saw's legs and necessitated a breathing apparatus, and I'm sure we're going to see the K2S0 meet too.

I suppose you could cut S1 in half so that does make sense.

I'm glad they didn't but there's definitely a natural point they could have split it.

I also noticed the "andor" intro changed. Which was nice.

Great finish to one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Probably not my favourite episode but definitely one of the stronger ones-a slow tense build up with a brilliant payoff. Had my on the edge of my seat throughout and loved how it came together. Thought the music and sound design was exceptional in that episode too.

Also, this show is really racking up the speeches! Shows the power of pairing great writers with great actors.

Yeah, at the end of the Aldhani arc. Problem with that is that they'd have stalled the momentum the show was building up.

I think they made the right call, with this season at least. Not sure making the next one condense four years of events into 12 episodes is the right decision, given that we're going to be left wanting more again, but we'll see.

Given the popularity of this they might decide to rewrite season 2 not to cover the whole gap hopefully so we can get more stories. Either that or they might make a new rebel series just without Andor as the main character.

Brilliant, loved the whole Brassed Off vibe the last episode had.

Probably just going to watch the whole thing again from the beginning.

I was thinking about doing this too, it's just that good.

That's a joke, but I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be true. ;)

They're calling it complete fanservice despite the fact everything leads up to Rogue One and the story even shows what's going on already in just Andor.

Some people are just never happy unless they have something to bitch about.

I thought it was a nice "Ah so that's what they were for" moment. Nothing more.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the post credit scene, it makes perfect sense and isn't at all shoehorned in :fp:

100% this, exactly how I felt about it.
