PostStar Wars, but not quite as you know it...
by That's not a growth » Fri Jan 20, 2012 9:05 pm

So, 2 years ago an online community decided to remake A New Hope in 15s segments, with anyone able to make a section as long as they requested it. It's been finished a while, but now it's been all put together and the sound sorted out as one long piece.

Oh, and it's bat-shit insane.

The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class are to represent and repress them in parliament.

Either some of these people have incredibly understanding employers, or they just invaded random office buildings to do some filming

This, so very this. I loved it, but damn. It's like a patchwork quilt designed by the Family Guy staff. Plus, given how many Clone Trooper helmets get used, that probably makes it better integrated into Star Wars canon than the actual film.

Greedo shoots first in the proper film. It's just plain fact. 8-)

In the original cuts, yes. It was one of many seemingly minor details that Lucas tampered with in his special editions.

With the very first visual gag, this superseded the Family Guy spoof by quite a way.

EDIT: I love that Luke's first appearance is as a straw with a name tag

It's made by Star Wars fans. You shouldn't need to ask.
It's a recommended watch from me. Really hilarious in points.
