If they bump it, they'll be able to do some reshoots and whatnot over the summer. That epic scene at the end of Rogue One was done on a reshoot.

So of course I'm fine with delays, as long as the final product is good.

Both episodes 7 and 8 were originally scheduled for summer so I wouldn't take this as gospel. Although it means waiting an extra 6 months I like the idea of the films coming out at Xmas. I saw ep7 on Xmas eve, best Christmas ever!

Poe Dameron looks like Jake Johnson from New Girl in a Han Solo costume.

Google Maps, satellite view. Go to Barrow Hills Golf Club.

Head slightly North West.

Yep, that's a Millennium Falcon surrounded by shipping crates. It's only 20 miles from Pinewood so is probably a legit prop.

Edit: apparently it's closer still to a different studio, which was actually used for Last Jedi.

Han solo's driectors have left. Press release says different visions, so all parties agreed to part ways.

Scuttlebut is they were fired.

But who fired first? :?:

Not sure if serious, but the rumour doing the rounds is that the Disney Juggernaut (aka Kathleen Kennedy) did not like their "irreverent" style of film-making.

Ron Howard now being tipped to take over.

Am I the only one who has no interest in Han Solo prequel? I want standalone films that actually stand alone not just focussing on the same characters endlessly. You just know they will cram it full of cameos.

This is why I liked rogue one, even though it tied into original.

I'm vaguely interested in Han's early career in the Imperial Navy (if that's even still canon) and seeing his homeworld. Beyond that, though, no, not a lot of interest right now. I'm open to it being good though.

I was interested in it purely because of Lord and Miller. I guess that's out the window. God I hate corporate meddling.

Didn't the Han Solo movie start filming months ago? :dread: Like, February or something? Unless they're doing massive reshoots this movie is essentially already filmed.
