Other than the gold bikini, Jedi is far worse than New Hope and Empire.

Empire>New Hope>Force Awakens>Jedi>dog gooseberry fool on your skin>dog gooseberry fool in your mouth>a quick death>Phantom Menace>painful death>Clones=Sith

I've not seen Rogue One but I assume it's better than the dog gooseberry fool.

In order:

The Empire Strikes Back
A New Hope
The Force Awakens/ Rogue One (I need to see R1 again properly to finally place it above or below TFA)
Return of the Jedi
Revenge of the Sith
Attack of the Clones

The Phantom Menace

Phantom menace is the best prequel though, it's certainly the one that's the most 'star wars'. Sith is my favourite prequel but it's not the best.

Clones is like film aids.

I recently rewatched the prequels and have to agree. Phantom menace is not as bad as people paint it out to be. It's definitely the closest in tone/ structure to the original trilogy. It has some great set pieces (pod race is good) amazing score - dual of the fates is superb and the best lightsabre fight (2 v maul)

It does however have a lot of crap - awful child actors, stupid cgi, political plot nonsense, jar jar...

Clones is easily the worst Star Wars film. Mostly garbage. The whole plot is basically irrelevant as it doesn't really move the story along aside from the dire "romance" and the yoda fight is laughable when you think about it.

The proper order. Though I've only seen Rogue One once.

Empire
New Hope
Rogue One
TfA
RotJ
RotS
Phantom Menace
AotC

This.

It's not a good film at all but I think the disappointment of it has made people hate it more than it actually deserves. By the time Clones and Sith came out people knew they were going to be gooseberry fool and so the memory of them doesn't sting as much.

Speaking of prequels, I'm still hoping for a new Pod Racer game. The Frostbite engine would make it look so.damn.good. Why is it not happening?! EA should get Criterion on that gooseberry fool as soon as their next main project is done.

I enjoyed the prequel trilogy. I can see why people hate it, but gooseberry fool man, it's worth it for Ewan McGregor's performance as Obi-Wan alone.

See I never took to him in those, just seemed to be in it for the sake of it and the faux British accent grated. He was the best actor in sith though, no doubt.

I love how everyone has jumped to that conclusion with certainty, like LucasFilm would make such a thing that obvious

I have no idea why people would think this means Luke is dying.

I like how quickly we've gone from Return of the Jedi to The Last Jedi . I quite like the title though, and the change of the logo to red is interesting, it looks really good.
