Except it was supposed to be a little bit emotional once Darth Maul had murdered Obi-Wan's master, and yet the tone of the fight remained at a monotonous level all the way through.

For any action scene in a film to work, you have to:

A) Have an idea of what's going on.

B) Actually give a crap.

The prequel action scenes have a hard time making you do either, despite how visually impressive they may be.

Did Lucas get the 'only ever two Sith - a master and an apprentice' from the EU literature or is that something he made up himself?

That gooseberry fool doesn't make any sense.

What if two dudes that think they've reached Master Sith level crop up on opposite ends of the galaxy? If there are only ever two Sith, adn they haven't been around in 1,000 years, why are Jedis so good at fighting them?

They should have just left it as it was explained in... KotOR, I think.

EDIT: Actually, maybe Yoda meant that they only go around in pairs with no unifying body like the Jedi Council..

Every time I think Revenge of the Sith might be the least worst of the three, I catch 10 minutes of it and realise that I am wrong.

Just watched that Episode 1 review. He's absolutely spot on about combining Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. Would have been so much better.

I watched all 6 of these films for the first time in the correct order and really don't see what all the fuss is about.

Judging from your posts, you have the mental age of a 5 year old so I imagine most of it was a bit over your head.

You'd love the little figures though.
