If the rumours about bring him back using new CG tech are true, then OMG

They did have a little cameo at the end of Episode 3, and he did lead the whole project, so it would hardly be a shock to see him. :)

There's rumours that he'll be played by Peter Cushing

I read they've actually cast Seth Rogen for the role.

No one outside of the hardcore fan base seems to know what this film is or that it even exists. Hopefully Disney have a massive marketing campaign as we get neared to the release date.

Me personally i'm looking forward to it but i'm getting looks of puzzlement when explaining what this film is to casual fans who went out to see ep7 straight away.

I think that's the whole point. This is for the hardcore fans. Bit those fans will tell everyone to watch this. They'll cajole their friends with explanations and backstory. That's what we do.
Besides the hardcore this is in the millions and most of us are more than happy to do multiple viewings.
I'm seeing it with my mates but they're tightwads who won't pay for IMAX.
Then I'm seeing it on IMAX with mates who aren't huge fans but love IMAX experience films.

Then I'm seeing it with my kids - who love Star Wars because they were force fed it or absorbed it by osmosis.

Looking better with each trailer. I hope there's as much action in this film as the trailers suggest.

That martial arts guy looks like Sci-Fi Hundred Eyes.

Going to see Rogue One on Monday afternoon with my brother and dad, got our tickets booked :toot:
Sadly my brother only wants 2D since 3D gives him a headache, so no 3D DBOX seats :x

I'm seeing it tomorrow night. 2D and a rather small screen. Will see it multiple times if it's as good as the reviews say.

Wish my image sig would work

Don't get why people want to ever see films in 3D, the image is always blurry and darker than 2D, it's just not as good a viewing experience.

I just can't get excited about this one. I can't see myself taking the time to go to the cinema for it before Christmas at least. Sure, the reviews sound good, but I'd rather just wait for Episode 8.

Re: 3d. Same here, I'm just constantly aware I'm wearing glasses, really takes me out of the film.

Going to watch either ANH or TFA ( same thing really ;) ) tonight to add to the hype.

Is it worth creating a new topic for Rogue One so people can chat about the film and containing spoilers, as I don't want anyone to post stuff in this thread about the film? We had one for The Force Awakens.

Supposed to be seeing it with three mates. All huge fans apparently. I've given one my ticket money and said "phone the others then book it."
Messaged them last night. No response .
Messages again - no response.
So I said "just send me my strawberry floating money back. I'm not turning up to the cinema en masse on Friday and hoping it won't sell out.

My other mates - we're seeing it on IMAX next week. Booked and paid for.

So I'll be seeing with the first lot on Friday if they've sorted it by today.
If not I'll see it by myself tomorrow.
Makes me sound a banana split but if you're not as keen and excited as I am - kindly fuckoff.
