The next stand-alone A Star Wars Story film has entered production. Hope they keep doing them after the new trilogy is done.

First look at Finn, Rey and Poe on.... toy packaging. Also the only new thing here is that Rey has a different hair style

I wonder if she's gonna be sporting one of those hair braids?

The Last Jedi refers to more than one Jedi.

An unnecessary Star Wars story is exactly how i would describe rogue one.

What story would you rather have been told? Not looking to criticize, as there is a lot of potential for great stories to be told, around new and existing characters both.

I loved Rogue One, personally - the story of the events that brought the Rebel Alliance together as their darkest hour loomed was one I loved to see unfold. I could've perhaps used some additional scenes giving more weight to the importance of the TIE pilot and Sol, not to mention more screen time for Krennic and Galen, but I came away very happy nevertheless.

All my issues with R1 were with the execution, not the concept. I loved the idea and where it sat in the overall story.

My only issue with R1 was the planet hopping at the start. When the pace finally sorted itself out, it was great. And the final act was quite frankly, stunning!

We should have a teaser/trailer for The Last Jedi today. It'll be live streamed as part of the panel from Celebration at around 5pm. Not sure if it will be released afterwards, so I'm going to try and watch live.

That poster is gorgeous and I loved the trailer, nothing really given away but enough to start the excitement!
