I think we are going to start to see less and less movies advertised during the superbowl due to the massively high costs. With the main distribution of trailers now just being online over social media and youtube, TV advertising if becoming less and less relevant.

Legends covered Han Solo's past pretty thoroughly, and since they've been borrowing other elements from other areas of Legends, no doubt we might get a condensed version of both Solo trilogies. However, I'm hoping they go for new things, and when that trailer hits I'll be interested in what it contains.
However, at the minute, I'm more interested in seeing how Rebels ends.

Nice to see Christopher Heyerdahl getting work.

Looks awesome, based on that teaser.

I am still baffled by the idea of a trailer for a trailer. The strange thing is the trailers for the trailers are getting longer and longer. This one is nearly a minute long. So what Disney are actually doing is releasing two trailers in two days as far as I’m concerned.

Maybe, maybe... but we're three months out from a new Star Wars film and have seen jack gooseberry fool of it. That seems pretty unusual. Didn't we have a Rogue One teaser 6-8+ months out from that film's theatrical release?

Some folks are already wondering what it'll bring to the wider Star Wars verse, in particular Han's own future. It could cast the subsequent films in a whole new light.

Reserving full judgement until tomorrow but that's the first Star Wars trailer that didn't wow me.

:dread:

Do Disney still employ that “keeper of the holocron” guy? He needs to start doing his job... The Falcon looks like a YT-1300 - There aren’t any extra panels. I thought the weird ship on the poster was going to be another kind of freighter but I guess not...

Didn’t realise some of the lego sets had leaked, too. “The Kessel Run Millenium Falcon”. Kinda sad it’s a redesign to pull in some more merchandising bucks but one of the other sets they’re doing is another basic TIE Fighter...

Might look ok as a fun adventure in the star wars universe.

Does not feel like Solo/Lando though. I think that's going to be the killing blow for the film.

How else are they meant to sell new toys and Lego sets?

I think they'd sell more stuff if the designs weren't so uninspired, really. The EU had some fantastic ships, and so far the only thing we've really had that looked anywhere decent was Kylo's TIE Silencer and the TIE Striker's from Rogue One.

That new TIE Fighter just looks like a slightly deformed TIE Bomber's body stuck in between a normal TIE Fighters wings. It might be an iconic shape but move on.

Looks alright from the trailer, will need to watch it again when I finish work as I couldn't make out most of the speech in there due to background noise.

Eugh, I really don't like that Targaryan bint. Film looks uninspired as well. Really not feeling this one.

I'll be shocked if the best thing about this film isn't Donald Glover as Lando.

After the "humour" that was in the Last Jedi, I'm a little concerned with what this one will be like. Hopefully he plays it as smooth and cool as Billy Dee.

Either way, this doesn't really interest me at present but we shall see.
