I think it will do a lot better than that, it looks decent, with some interesting base building mechanics. I can see it being a lot of fun with friends. Hm, I wonder if my PC would run it on the lowest settings? Probably not
Watched it all, seriously buzzing about this. I love the base building, it’s like Cities Skylines coupled with Left 4 Dead. Needing resources so scouting them out from a tower then going to retrieve them. All the while keeping a low profile incase a horde spots you.
Tomorrow there should be a load of info coming out from lots of different sites as a preview event was held in London for EU journo's last week and in Seattle for US ones.
All played on an Xbox One X I believe. (all footage so far is PC).
I don't mind if it's similar to the original, I just wanted more maps and content which is in this but tethered co-op in 2018 is just crazy.
I'll enjoy it cos I love the original but good lord that's disappointing.
Ian Higton wrote the preview, he makes up his mind on things before he plays them too many times. The guy won't even try the new God of War. At least he told us about the co-op though, IGN never mentioned it.
EDIT: Just learned Far Cry 5 also has tethered co-op.
What's so terrible about tethered co-op? Isn't the whole point of co-op that you're playing with a friend and why are you playing co-op if all you want to do is piss off to different areas?
