Welcome to the PC Deals thread. It's about deals for PC games. Act surprised.

Humble Bundle
http://www.humblebundle.com
And lo, there was another Humble Bundle. There's a twist to this one: on top of the DRM-free Windows/Mac/Linux versions and Steam codes you're used to, this one has Android versions included in this price. The games this time are:
EDGE
Warzone: Anomaly Earth
Osmos
World of Goo (must beat average)

Standard Humble stuff applies, although you'll have to pay at least a dollar to get the Steam code.

Indie Gala
http://www.indiegala.com
It's back, and significantly better than before. Pay what you want (minimum $1), but if you pay more, you get more. Games are all Steam keys and music is in 320kb/s MP3s. Do note that this time round there are strictly 50,000 bundles, and once they're gone, they're gone. Also note that apparently their payment processor and key distributor is currently a bit overloaded. The bundle includes:
GAMES
Fortix 2
Critical Mass
Bunch of Heroes
Greed Corp (beat the average)
Roboblitz (beat the average)
Zombie Shooter 1 (beat ten bucks)
Zombie Shooter 2 (beat ten bucks)
Hacker Evolution Duality (beat ten bucks)
Hacker Evolution Untold (beat ten bucks)
Your Doodles Are Bugged (beat ten bucks)
InMomentum (beat ten bucks)
ALBUMS
Griffage - Comfort
The Numbers - Beautiful EP
Casey Lalone - Skitter EP
Casey Lalone - Thank You (beat the average)
Jack Butler - Fit The Paragram (beat the average)
Robot Science - Square (beat the average)
Robot Science - Doodads (beat ten bucks)

The only game I really want is Might & Magic Heroes VI but it's still £too much (£29.99) :( .

I'll keep an eye out over the next few days but if some kind soul sees that this game has indeed been slipped into a daily deal and I don't spot it please PM me. I'll be ever so grateful.

EDIT: Changed my mind, I already have more games than I need.

Almost certain to be cheaper in one of the daily deals I would have thought.

I would love it if that were true. Not played it yet.

Is there anywhere on Steam where it tells you how big the download is before you buy a game?

No, but the "Hard drive" listing the requirements will give you a hint.

Duke is probably worth a fiver, but is it worth my time?

I'd rather have Bulletstorm. Hope it's in the deals.

Also, are the retail versions of COD steamworks? Could I just get a second hand version of Black Ops off amazon for a tenner ( here)?

Edit: I seem to be asking if things are steamworks quite a bit recently. How do you find out?

I'm going to recommend Orcs Must Die! as it's a great little game and well worth £3. I have it on 360 and I'm not unhappy I paid 1200 points for it.

And the fact that it's used probably means the code has already been used, which essentially amounts to buying a ten pound coaster.

That's helpful cheers. Hmm, I fancy having Black Ops in my library, but not for £20. Oh well. Probably cheaper in a few years.

I got a few good deals so far. Got Mass Effect 1 and 2 which I was going to get a few weeks ago and waited so chuffed and got Orcs must die after hearing good things. Also got the oddworld stuff since I remember hearing good reviews for Stranger's Wrath when it came out. I think. Oh well, it was cheap. :shifty:

Don't hold your breath. I think the cheapest MW1 has been is £14.99. :|

I'd get the Mass Effects, but with Batman ready for activation, I can't justify them sitting unplayed on my steam list. Payday: The Heist is down to just over a tenner, people should get that, so I can actually play with other people who aren't morons :(
