The hours played is completely wrong as I log in at work and leave my computer on all week. I think I've played about 2hrs of TF2 as only ever played it at work a couple of times, yet it has me down as over 100!

Also very rare that I pay full price for a game. Most of my collection is humble bundle games.

loads of those are humble bundle stuff though that cost nothing and some a pretty pants so no real interest in playing them.

I was looking through my bookmarks and came across this topic so I decided to compare the current status of my Steam account with my previous post. I've added nearly 400 games to my library, mainly through bundles, but my unplayed percentage only went down by 4%. That being said, I'm sure that idling for cards contributed a lot to keeping that number down.

So I bought 25 new games over about 13 months, 15 of which Ive not played. Ive played about 24 days, which prorated works out to around £18.4 per day given I spent around £400 (I didnt, sales etc obvs).

What is interesting though, is if I take out my big hitters, games I play regularly (Counter Strike, GTA 5, Payday 2) that leaves only around 200 hours played on other games. Then if you take out time Ive spent playing old games like New Vegas the time spent playing new purchases is closer to probably 100 hours, which isnt a great conversion rate for the money spent.

If I have time I might organise all of my purchases into a sheet of purchase date and playtime to date and I expect to see some very low numbers.

Thanks to the spending thread, I've been keeping an Excel spreadsheet updated with my purchases so I managed to work out how much I really spent in the past year on Steam games. My games total is now 927 as I found a few items in my Steam inventory that I bought as gifts instead of adding them to my library. My games count grew by 21 and £177 (£43 in sales) in a few minutes

Anyway, I spent a grand total of £234.14 on 373 Steam games since July. £70.95 of that was on various bundles from Humble, Groupees and other sites. The other £163.19 went on the following Steam games:

I wanted to see a list of my games so I decided to use this site to get it and check out my Steam stats. Over the past 16 months, I've bought over 500 games but my unplayed percentage has gone down. Idling for cards probably helped reduce that percentage as I don't think that I've actually clocked up nearly 1500 hours of gaming on Steam alone since last May.
