steam community_grcade message and hijacked steam account

Got invited to chat by community from group GRCADE this afternoon, accepted the chat invite and now my strawberry floating steam account won't work, have opened a support ticket with them to try and sort it out so anyone with steam, beware of this happening to you. :evil:

I got a chat invitation from "community" this afternoon.

It's not my fault. Someone within the GRcade's group got his account hijacked and now he's passing the virus around, "MSN virus" style. I'll deal with it in the morning.

Accepted the chat invite but never clicked the link. My account has been fine so I think I'm safe.

I can't see any account like that within the GRcade group. Are you sure it's coming from here and not the old Gamesradar group? This is the current Steam group, it's invite-only ostensibly to stop this kind of crap happening: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/grcade-dot-com

Join that and leave the old long-defunct one.
