I want to buy it in a big bundle one time.

I don't have any of the DLC which is the best ?

I don't think there is such a bundle. As for the DLC, DD64 has a good suggestion. "Gods and Kings" and "Brave New World" are the main expansions. All the others are just minor gooseberry fool I think.

Rock of Ages is a lot of fun, pretty stupid and repetitive but theres something very satisfying about smashing through things as a magic boulder. Theyre very aware of how stupid an idea it is as well so everything has this weird humour, I kinda wanna go back and play it again now.

It's Monty Python Katamari, and is a mad, brilliant and silly game. Plus its educational, I learnt a little bit about art history as a result of playing it.

Yeah, Rock of Ages is brilliant. A lot of fun and hilarious too. You'd swear Terry Gilliam worked on it.

And it has one of my favourite main themes ever:

If you havent played Ace teams other game, Zeno Clash, i wholeheartedly recommend that too. Same style as Rock of Ages only you punch things. ZC1 is great, ZC2 is a bit flawed as it tried to go a bit open world, but it only kinda works. Still great tho. Ace teams art and character design is just some of the best ive ever seen. They seem like real nice guys too.

Cool, I might check that out, even if it is just to pile another game on the backlog.

An amazingly accurate way of describing it actually.

Long live the queen is a vaguely interesting distraction. Bit trial and error and I expect the winning combinations are actually quite narrow (I never managed it). Worth <£2 though

Anyone who buys LA Noire in this sale knowing how bad it is, repeatedly being told how foul it is is the worst type of human being ever.

My recommendation of the day is that we murder anyone who buys it, as they obviously as nothing to contribute to society and are just holding back the human race.

Why is it so bad?

Broken broken broken with horrific storyline that's obvious/repetitive, and frustrates rather than engages the player.

The interrogation system has (might be a little wrong here) "Accept," Doubt", "Accuse of Lying" to further conversation/investigation.

But it's so broken that the things don't tie into responses. Sometimes doubt will be accuse of lying, sometimes accuse will be trying to coax them. Breaks all immersion (and affects progress/grading/progression) and makes the character an asshole.

I'm interview a young child that has been raped, she's telling me the story and seems to be withholding something. I've been supportive up to now, gentling taking her statement. I click "Doubt" to try and get more on here story

Look you little slapper, you were asking for it weren't you!?!?? Going out at night dolled up like a grown up, but really you're just a filthy slapper WHORE!!!!! Now tell us the strawberry floating truth you slag!!!!!

:dread:

It's sounds funny (and sort of was in the circumstances) - but basically makes any choice you make to the questioning random/meaningless, and you just have to hope your bi-polar characters get enough info someone to move on to next section. Or repeat and try another random combination.

And there's the fact but by the 5th case of someone murdered in the exact same way and you're screaming at the screen "It's a serial killer" while "star cop" is going "By gosh golly this is a doozy of a completely separate and distinct case. if only we had some more clues"
Awful, awful game.

Hexx is spot on, the interrogation system is pretty bad. It makes Phelps come across like he has the worlds shortest fuse and is one bad answer away from torching half of LA.

Plus it's got probably the most unlikeable cast of characters a videogame has ever seen. Pretty much everyone is a dick.

All I can remember is being really strawberry floating angry at how the homicide desk ended. I was OK with the idea of a serial killer for the last case but did it have to completely invalidate all the previous cases too :x

Phelps is deeply traumatised after the war, him going mental in interrogations makes sense.

I gave up on LA Noire right near the end when you sleep with the singer or something?. Just really jarred in a game that had a lot of choice to make the protagonist do something awful with no player input.
