That HMD looks '90s as strawberry float.
Hands-on video + LG guy talking about it:

LG?
So it'll fall apart the instant the warranty expires then.

Hopefully this will encourage HTC to lower the Vive price.

Looks like Steam VR vs Microsoft Mixed Reality will be the future of PC VR with Oculus dropping out and going mobile.

Fallout 4 VR playable at E3 2017

Will be interesting to see how open world adventures translate to VR.

If they bring that to PSVR then I'll double dip on the PS4 version for sure.

Anyone here with a Vive/Oculus and Assetto Corsa?

It only does it with this game, but the monitor view is the whole field of view rather than being corrected, so it's all fish eye and looks gooseberry fool. You really can't see what's going on (i like to make hot lap videos  )

Anyone got any ideas? FOV in the settings of the game doesnt apply to that, and selecting the eye to view in the steam vr settings is a little window and not what i want.

Use reVive and run it in Oculus mode to see if that looks any better? But maybe that's not possible if the game already works natively with the Vive?

There have been some good SteamVR releases recently.

Batman: Arkham VR

Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality

Just played subnautica for the first time. ENded up putting 95 mins straight in to it, which is great for a vr game. It's a bit like your first night in minecraft, but over and over. Just crafted a repair tool to fix up my pod and i've just made a little propeller thingy to help me get around under water.

Atmosphere is great, I actually held my breath a few times when going under water the first few times :fp:

Bought the deluxe audio strap for my vive. Should hopefully be getting it after work.

It's expensive, but considering nearly all of my gaming time is spent in vr now I figure it's a worthwhile investment.

It replaces the current strap system with a semi rigid frame, which takes a.lot.of weight from the front of the face. It also has built in headphones which will be a lot better for using it while moving about (roomscale is a ballache to come in and out of quickly when you have to remove headphones, move the chords set while you have the headset on and two controllers strapped to your wrists - the cable tangles up a.fair bit.

I picked it up today. First impressions are that it makes the headset seem 'whole'. Before it felt like the front of it was all expensive and high tech, and the back was a shitty rubber band. Now the whole thing feels premium. It routes the cable around the side of your head now rather than over the top, so the pressure I used to feel after a long period of play is gone, and once you've had it on your head for a few mins, its far easier to (mostly) forget it's on there. I still feel the pressure on my face, but it's a lot more secure feeling now, especially while moving a lot in games like superhot. Also, the on ear headphones have a spongy feel, which doesn't come across in photos. They do seem a bit quiet though, i like to have the volume really loud in racing games for example.
