Karl has had the top of the page for three pages in a row, since page three, and, at the moment, there are three votes for the HL3 Vive in the poll.

I'm excited³!

It looks like Portal 3 was just a tech demo and not indicative of a new game.
I followed up to be absolutely clear, asking, "The demo being shown does not represent a prototype or indicate any plan for a new Portal?" Lombardi replied, "Correct. Just a demo." So no, this isn't Portal 3. It's just a tech demo until we know more—and I suspect Valve is just having fun with some existing art.

I still believe.

Yeah, Valve spent a year saying that Source 2 isn't a thing, that Source is iterative and constantly evolving and then Tuesday happens. If they say their perfectly playable Portal 3 demo doesn't mean they're working on Portal 3 I'm going to take that with a pinch of salt.

I do like the fact that they don't spend 2 years hyping up the games they are making.

I dont know why, but that sounds strawberry floating incredible.

Only watched the first few minutes but that's a really clever/simple way of informing the player they're about to bump into something.

Similar to how the side of the screen in Project Morpheus glows red if you're moving out of the camera's range.

I think I may have to go for this instead of the OR depending of screen res and price.

Well it's the most advanced VR system known to be in development, so expect it to be the most expensive.

The lack of motion sickness is what I want, quite a few people are still coming way from the OR feeling motion sick (I'm sure they will sort it), I don't want to fork out £300+ on something that I can't use due to wanting to puke.

The benefit of no attachment to facebook is nice also.

I had been totally sold on the OR until very recently. Now it's definitely a case of wait till these are all out and see what the general opinion is.
This one is definitely the one I'm most interested in, though as before it depends entirely on cost and power required to run it.

I wonder what sort of PC spec would be required to achieve good results with this headset. Two 1200x1080 screens at 90fps sounds like it could be challenging to achieve.
