But you also have to consider that they'll have filmed and completed every episode by the release day, unlike most shows.

Still, I'm sure it'll be good.

Always got the impression that Season 1 was only part of a longer story, I reckon they may have penned season 2 before getting the green light from netflix.

As a marketing ploy, Season 2 for haloween is genius, worked wonders associating Gilmore Girls with Thanks giving in the states.

It was set in the 80s and we know that the 90s happened so they have to continue with the story until Mulder and Scully take over.

After watching the first season in just 2 evenings this week and being utterly captivated for every minute of it, I have to say that I have very real concerns for season 2. I'll pen my thoughts down in detail later but I feel that season 2 is going to lose something in the makeup of season 1 that made it feel so special. I'm sure it'll still be great because season 1 was incredible but it won't have the same magic.

Perhaps it will have a new magic, a different feeling that is as good in its own way.

Jupiter is in your sun sign this week, making it pretty crowded in there, what with Jupiter being the largest of the planets and all.

And even if it doesn't hit the heights of Season 1 that doesn't mean it can't be good in its own right and worthwhile continuing the story.

Super excited about this. I initially had reservations about the direct continuation (and I still think an American Horror Story type setup with a new cast and plot each time would have worked better) but that's one hell of a poster.

'Beyond Stranger Things' will debut on the streamer Oct 27, the same day 'Stranger Things 2' releases.

Netflix's Stranger Things becomes the latest series to get the aftershow treatment.

The streaming giant is launching Beyond Stranger Things, a post-show rehash for the sci-fi phenomenon that debuted in 2016. Hosted by writer, producer, actor and "superfan" Jim Rash, the show after the show promises to explore the inspiration for the series, tell behind-the-scenes stories and analyze every aspect of the second season, including answering all burning questions.

All seven episodes will be available to watch on Oct. 27, the same day Stranger Things 2 is released on the streaming platform. However, viewers will be advised not to start watching Beyond Stranger Things until after they have finished watching the entire new season of the drama, as there will no doubt be major spoilers along the way. Unlike the genre's other aftershows, which air installments following each episodes, Netflix's iteration will automatically play after viewers complete the final episode of Stranger Things 2.

I hope this retains the high level of quality that the first season did. I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with it.
