I'll tell you what though dicking about with emulators more super turbo at default difficulty can go and get to strawberry float.

Yeah I used to love playing SF2 on the Mega Drive but guess I lowered the difficulty as my Switch preorder turned up Saturday and playing single player arcade mode is so hard and frustrsting, obviously I'm nowhere near a pro player but I used to think I was alright at it.. it's kinda not fun at this point but hopefully I'll improve. Looking forward to multiplayer though.

It's a nice package though despite the difficulty. I've also only properly tried SF2, only had a quick look at SF3 etc..

Super Turbo has a notoriously hard cheating AI. I think in the earlier iterations it's not as bad.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Yeah honestly feels like super turbo is reading your inputs so I can understand what that link is getting at. Very cheap but I remember enjoying it online on the original fat ass Xbox.

I think hyper fighting is probably the most enjoyable single player version of 2 in my opinion as a rank amateur. These are games that I admire the mechanics of but a) don't have the dexterity for nor b) the response times. :D

What's everyone getting it on?

PC and Switch. The Switch version in the UK eShop IS outrageously priced at £45 though, versus $40 in the American eShop.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Was looking at the Switch price in the usual places and it's a tenner dearer than the PS4 version at £35. strawberry float off with that.

Not strictly on-topic but I got Fightcade set up with SFIII3. Going to try out SFA3 as well.

I like Fightcade, it does need improving and some games like TMNT don't work online yet and no game works with more than 2 players. It's a shame, but when playing 2 player games it's great for more than 2, I guess I'll use MAMEhub.

I set it up, but there's hardly anyone on there, and those that are there are very very good at SF. I'll happily give you some games if you want Karl, but maybe you could pick up the Steam version of 30th anniversary for £18? I know times are tight for you atm though.

I was getting pretty tempted at that price, but now in any case a very kind & generous pal has PMed me a key (if he's reading: thank you again so much!), so, yeah! We should get together for some games on the PC version for sure. Haven't played SF properly in years but looking forward to it.

I setup fightcade too but now windows thinks its got a trojan in the zip you get for it so I'm probably putting it in the bin.

Weird that there's absolutely nothing out yet. I wonder if it's embargoed until today.

I have never played Street Fighter, so I think that will be the first one I try out (and then never touch it again as it does look awful)

But how many people are getting it on PC would love to have some people to play against

Fighting games aren't my bag but I've just noticed that Nintendo Life really like this Collection in their review.

Most of the reviews just comment on the fact online play is included, but doesn’t comment on how stable it is. Apparently no way to filter by connections so at best it’s likely to be a mixed bag.
