Haha thanks Buff. I'll update the OP later this afternoon.

Looking forward to this collection was going to get this on Switch but as it seems be £15-£20 more than the PS4 I'll get it on PS4.

ooo, yeah let me know. I want to see if this works so I can try.

It works really well. No delay that I can see. By default it maps A->B X->Y etc, but you can hold down start and A on the controller for three seconds and then it switches them to A->A etc.

However the only fighting game I have on Switch is Garou: Mark of the Wolves, which I am absolutely horrible at. I am now very hyped for this street fighter release, bring on the Third Strike.

THAT MAN HAS A FAMILY!!! BAH GAWD!!!

I just downloaded SF2 on mame. I think ill just stick with that instead of buying this. I never played 3 or alpha so im not all that pushed really

Try using https://play.fightcade.com/ It combines an arcade emulator with excellent "roll-back" style netplay.

If you've never played Street Fighter 3 before, there's some excellent video tutorials here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... Aqnilhh13_

Watching those videos reminds me of how awesome SF3's art style was, makes me wish they would make a HD hand-drawn SF game. SF4 and SFV just look hideous.

Yeah SF3's art is great. You can see all the sprites and colour combinations at this site: http://zweifuss.ca/

Nice to spend a few minutes checking it out.

Is there anywhere you can get this cheap?

It's already a budget game, with an RRP of £30, and £45 on the switch.

Smyths have the PS4/XBONE versions for £25, and the Switch version at £36.99, with a further £5 off if you buy in store.

Hmmm, it's not cross platform is it. I generally but all my games for Steam but I have a PS4 so the community will be die pretty quick but I have a fight stick for my PC. Decisions, decisions.

What model of fightstick do you have? I recently researched adapters for making older kit work on modern platforms and there's quite a few options out there.

Brook accessories seem to make the highest quality ones - UK reseller here: https://www.arcadeworlduk.com/search.ph ... on=product and official site here: http://www.brookaccessory.com/Super%20C ... /list.html

I discussed the Mayflash NS a few pages earlier, this is cheaper and makes nearly any controller work on PS3 or Switch. Unfortunately not good for your use case, so a Brook adapter might be your best bet.

It's a Madcats SF 4 stick for 360. Would it be possible to use a Raspberry Pi to do the converting?

No idea mate, and remember solutions that involve a processor like that would introduce lag. I'd stick to the Brook converter: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gam3Gear-ZPPN0 ... +converter

I went for the PC version. Hopefully they'll be a good chance of getting games.

I'm thinking of double dipping the PC version too, so maybe I'll see you out there in the lobbies.

Out of interest where is the best price for this?

For PC the best I have seen is £22.50 at Green Man Gaming, anyone seen better?

That'll sort me out. Adding that price to the OP.
