Fairly standard list, though personally I don't think Half Life 2 is that good.

Time for adventure

It has sonic the hedgehog above mario 64. It is therefore invalid. Lock this immediately and lets never discuss it again.

Quake III should not be in the top 75 let alone the top 20. [/Opinionated]

UK bias for MD over SNES showing there perhaps?

No Shadow of the Colossus, no pure RTS games, Deus Ex far too low down, stupid inclusion of Motorstorm.

Boring top 5 too.

Some...unusual entries in there, including the odd movie spoiler, no doubt put in to weed out the people who didn't actually read the full list.

*Snore*

Still, it's not very often you get a list that is so mundane and so hilariously innacurate all at the same time.

Well done Stuff.

To be honest though for a lads gadget mag (i think thats what it is) or is it that skin mag?

anyway, the list has some diverse titles i wouldn't have expected them to come up with, i bet they googled top 100 lists and put them all together or borrowed ideas!

That's the problem, it is literally like someone read two or three Top 100s, then asked a couple of employees to remember utterly obscure childhood favourites and inserted them randomly.

Still, Top 100s are always terrible.

I like Half Life 2, i suppose you have to think about it in a certain way. But if you have to do that to enjoy it, it can't be that good. Therefore should not be No. 1.

It's a good list, esepcially when you consider the magazine isn't a pure gaming mag. Half Life 2 may not be the best game ever in a lot of people's eyes but it is in a lot of people's Top 10s so when it comes to a winner they could have gone with something a lot worse.
