I'd also recommend Sendai and Nikko (fairly close to Tokyo). There's a great small restaurant in Nikko where anyone who eats there can leave a memento pinned to the wall (or ceiling in my case). The foods great too.
Anyway, Mountain Dew, I've never tasted another drink that tastes so vile...and that includes Panda Cola
