I collected the Star Wars Tazo collection back in '95-'96 ?

I had them all but one. I finally finished the collection around 2008 when I found that missing tazo on ebay. All those wonderful memories are now consigned to one of the many storage boxes we have under the bed.

Great times.

I also remember the Dennis stories which featured his grans Demon Whacker, which was a solid elephant hide slipper that even his dad was afraid of.

Anyone remember Battle Beasts? They were small plastic figures of anthropomorphic animals wielding swords, axes and other weapons, I had quite a few of them as a kid.

I'd forgotten about them until I found one the other day (it was a toad with a drill for an arm).

Match rockets? How were the polo's used? Sounds possibly similar to what we used to do at Halloween; used to unravel a large safety pin to thread a roll of caps onto (folding over and puncturing through the middle). This would then be well sellotaped to the side of a flare match (could get up to 4+ strapped to a side), to create an almighty bang. Much fun! I remember one time i nearly blew my bloody finger off; the feckin sellotape got stuck after striking it. Thank feck I managed to shake it off!

Also, Creamola Foam; used to liven up my water in primary school! Plus, all those colours, e numbers and fizzing kept dentists well employed!

Ahh Cremola foam was great.

To make a rocket out of a match you tightly wrap the head of the match with silver foil, prop it up against a stone or something similar then light the match wood with another match.
