Space raiders still exist I think I'm sure I have seen them, I was more a transformer snack fan.

Pogs were good along with Tazzos.

I never got the love for Space Raiders, but Transform-a-Snacks were great. As were Tangy Toms and Quarterbacks. All for 10p a bag. :datass:

Did you collect the mini boglins which were added to kelloggs boxes? I never did get the gold one.

Oh god yes, though in my case it was a local toy shop that sold them.

I still remember going into the store and seeing Magicland Dizzy on sale for the first time.

For me it was mainly Codemasters, they did some amazing budget releases.

That smell :datass:

Never sniffed it or anything that stupid but still liked the smell of it (and whiteboard markers).

I was going to name UHU glue for the same reason, but it seems you can still get that. Ah, the chemicals of our youth. The kids these days are missing out. Never did us a

I always sucked at Gauntlet, that's why my brother never wanted to play co op with me.

I was also terrible at the Amiga game 'escape from the planet of the robot monsters'

The fact that i was under 10 didn't seem to matter.

It wasn’t my first ever game, but Magicland Dizzy was the first game I ever bought with my own money (and it was indeed from the local newsagents!).

Holy gooseberry fool Boglins! Forgot about those. I used to have one that shot its eye out as a projectile if you pushed down on the Boglin.

I was in and out of hospital as a kid, I let some other fella play with the toy, he ended up hitting the nurse in the eye with it, gave her a black eye.

Anyone remember these little characters that were like pogs but they were marble sized and each one was shaped differently and was a certain character? You had to throw them at each other to knock your opponent's ones away. I can't for the life of me remember what they were called but I had a plastic bag full of them.

Also does anyone remember these freaky, plastic made monsters that were like playing with conkers? As your monster took his the plastic pieces would drop off until you were just left with its innards and it was game over.

Crazy Bones! gooseberry fool, I loved them so much. The excitement of opening a packet and seeing which ones you got. Some were sparkly and multicoloured as well.

Still plenty of these in Blackpool with a mix of late-90s games and current games.

Unlike Japan, though, you only ever see racers and lightgun shooters.

The ratio of gambling machines and strawberry floating Minion grab games seems to be growing, and who the strawberry float wants to play Crossy Road on a 40 inch screen!

Can't remember the last time I saw a traditional joystick and 3 button cabinet outside the X-Men machine in a rock bar in my town.

gooseberry fool, I remember those but I think they were called "go-gos".
