What's your opinion on the game, Jebus? Am I being a bit harsh here or not?

Mixed so far, when it all clicks together it is a lot of fun and when you are just traversing the city it feels great swinging and grinding around. However the fact that as soon as you stop means you are pretty much done for when there are more than a couple of enemies is very frustrating especially when you run low on ammo. Overall though the good outweighs the bad, definitely getting on better with it than I ever did infamous. I do wonder if it would help if I stopped pushing on with the story and got some more weapons.

After the slow start I've enjoyed this game but i do find I've had enough of it after an hour or so as the non-stop jumping and grinding gets a bit tiresome. It's probably one of those games that i enjoy but sell/trade as soon as i'm finished with as I'm not really interested in the multiplayer.

It does Feel like a mixture of Dead Rising and Infamous to me which isn't bad as i enjoyed both of those games.

I'm doing side missions, some of the weapons I have are amazing, also, it's cheap to buy Ammo off gun guy and you find lots on roofs in red boxes, and health in green ones.

Which is great unless you are in the middle of a battle in which case the gun guy is out, there are usually crates about but when they are floor level and can't easily be gotten without stopping your flow it can be a real pain.

But....it's a game, it'd be ludicrous to have infinite ammo for all guns cos you only ever use the power ones, it means you have to think about what guns to use on what enemies, if you highlight guns in main menu it shows you what type of enemy they are good against...if ammo is at floor level work out a way to get down to it and back up, Thats the point...

I'm not saying I want infinite ammo which would indeed be game breaking (though I suppose an infinite shot/slow reload low power weapon would be good as a last ditch help-out) but the need to break the flow to get ammo can be annoying especially as the game is designed around you not keeping moving.

I should add that there have only been a couple of times I've found it an issue and generally I've had enough ammo or been able to source more. It is at its worst when you die and the big thing you are fighting goes back to full heath while you are still down ammo, didn't help that last time this happened to me I started on the ground next to two OD who were straight on me before I could get up and going.

I'll be honest with you I died about 5 times so far, maybe just doing story mode alone is hard.

Run about on terra firma and you be dead in double quick time. Like, if you somehow find yourself in a good spot, the game will spawn enemies behind you, forcing you to move. I see that as a bad thing. I expected better from Insomniac than this.

I felt that as well at first, I was extremely underwhelmed but saw the potential. As soon as I unlocked a couple of awesome weapons I started to enjoy it more, and then I got the air dash and ground smash. And from that point onwards the game just got better and better.

Enemies drop ammo as well, so as you're grinding/bouncing around you should be able to replenish a half decent amount of ammo. Again, at first, I hated the fact that ammo ran out quickly. But, once I got a few weapons on the go, I was actually quite pleased that the ammo restriction forced me to change weapons as it meant that I had to try out the other weapons. Now I've got a set weapon to take out the big OD, a particular weapon to destroy the Fizzco hordes, and a set weapon for situations when I'm really over-run.

Just started this today, only played a couple hours but i'm enjoying it so far but sometimes it can get pretty manic trying to shoot enemies whilst grinding around the environment.

How long did it take you to finish the game? It's not really clicking with me so far (just got the air dash) so wondering if it opens up more?

Cheers, think I may just concentrate on just finishing the story unless it picks up significantly

Just finished the mission where you set up the rock concert for the sick kids and it feels like it's finally clicking with me now.

Feel like I'm getting closer to the end though, am I nearly finished?
