Any news on the DLC being offered at a discount?

It wouldn't make any sense to offer the DLC cheap right now. It'll probably be a few weeks after the freeloaders have played it and maybe paid full price for the DLC instead.

Pretty much every time a game goes GWG the DLC is on sale the following week.

This game was worth every penny I paid at launch.
Really wish it would get a sequel.

And it's definitely worth all the ones I didn't pay when I downloaded it last week. :slol:

Really enjoying this, it's very irreverent and chilled, but also has a wicked difficulty curve on the challenges. I'm looking forward to sinking a bit of time into this. It feels like a proper successor to the THPS games, weirdly enough.

My controller disconnecting has came back again with a vengence on this game :fp: I have finally figured out the cause, as it only happened occasionally in games like Tomb Raider... it's the rumble feature of the controller.

Everytime I try to fire a gun with no ammo, Sunset Overdrive makes the controller vibrate like mad. I'm guessing the controller is drawing so much current it switches off briefly

I thought it was because of poor wireless communication between the controller and the console. I've been using a USB cable for months thinking that had fixed the problem.

Microsoft :fp:

Anyone fancy teaming up for the Chaos Squad mode? I am finding that playing with randoms isn't so rewarding :x

You've a broken controller, it's not normal for it to disconnect cos of vibrating.

I know it's broken :simper: It's been like it since launch but I haven't been able to find out what the reason for it doing it until now. Turning vibrate off seems to have stopped it from happening, in SO at least.

Insomniac: Sunset Overdrive May Have A Future, With Or Without Microsoft

Sunset Overdrive was one of the surprise success stories of the early Xbox One era, winning over critics with its irreverent attitude and fast-paced gameplay. For a console that lacks defining first-party games beyond the Halo, Gears of War, and Forza franchises, the Insomniac Games title seemed like a natural candidate to receive a sequel. But more than two years removed from its launch, the franchise is still dormant.

We asked Insomniac president Ted Price why there has been no movement on a sequel, and he replied, "You'd have to ask Microsoft." But with or without Microsoft's participation, Sunset Overdrive may grind again.

"We are passionate about that franchise, and we own it, so you may see more Sunset in the future from us," Price said. "No promises, and no timeline to speak of, but it is something that represents our willingness to create unexpected experiences."

Right now, Insomniac is currently working on the PS4-exclusive Spider-Man and its VR title The Unspoken, which has a full season of content planned. The studio just came off its busiest year to date, shipping Ratchet & Clank, Song of the Deep, Edge of Nowhere, Feral Rites, and The Unspoken all in 2016.

God I hope we get a sequel, the first was fantastic.
At the very least they should do a PC port of the first, I think it'd certainly sell well enough.
