OK, my list includes a few entries that may yet be disqualified, so I've simply made it longer. That way I can still contribute a ten, even if it is determined later that some of my entries* can't count. And these are my favourites, not those games that I would make the case for being the best Nintendo games.

I've made the assumption that Rare games do not count, even though others have included them in their lists. Were they to be permitted, Banjo Kazooie and Donkey Kong Country 2 would have made the top ten.

And yeah, I double posted so I'd be at the top of a new page. Hope that's OK; I figured more pages = good thing.

I haven't played many Nintendo games from the last few years as I only really started with them about 10 years ago, so it's been quite the backlog to get through, especially when I've tried to space out the games from the same franchises to avoid burnout.

This is my favourite list just for listing the studios like that 8-)

If I don’t limit it to one per franchise, it’s basically all Zelda (OOT, Link’s Awakening, BOTW, Majora’s Mask) and Mario (64, Galaxy 1+2, 3D World) with the best Mario Kart (8DX) and Smash (Melee) thrown in.

One per franchise however:

You'll never beat the greatest game by concensus thread. That was a mess from start to finish, yet somehow utterly enjoyable and very compelling. Plus it had the correct result in the end.
