:| was expecting something more tough. Have enough to power up to 999 now and I’m done. I would say I’m upset as it’s been an amazing journey but sadly I left the skipping till the end and spending 3 hours getting more and more frustrated wasn’t my idea of fun and kinda left a bad taste in my mouth

So I found out some things today. Before putting moons in the Odyssey, they rack up on the left side of the screen. When you get to 151, the 150th moon becomes a '...'

Also, depending on which kingdoms you choose during your playthrough changes what kingdom you go to for some of the paintings. I.e., if you pick Lake and Seaside, wooded kingdom leads to luncheon, but if you pick Wooded and Seaside, wooded kingdom leads to sand, which then of course changes what paintings follow up in those kingdoms. Literally no idea why they'd do this but whatever.

Completed this earlier. 180 moons which I thought was decent until i looked in here

What a game. Some of the creativity was mind blowing.

Years of no gaming followed by BOTW then this has utterly spoiled me. All downhill from here I fear :(

The balloon mode is an absolute treat, such a clever take on asynchronous multiplayer. Did worry it would be needle in a haystack but:

A) Thankfully you're always aware of your distance from the balloon,

B) You're pointed to its direction at the start of a run and when you stand still

It's also now by far the best way to grind for coins, a much needed aid for the long road to 100% completion. Alas I have all 999 moons but but at least I can finally get that damn skeleton costume

EDIT: Just discovered that you can go after a friend's balloon without destroying it thankfully. As such, the codes for anyone who wants to try mine:

Though it looks like the first balloons that'll appear for selection will be friends' ones anyway.

I though the balloon mode would be pants but just spent 2 hours straight playing it :toot:

Managed to max out my coins twice too and as you level up, the rewards get higher and higher. Only have a couple of costumes left to get.

The balloon mode is pretty fun and as Jazzem said, quicker way to grind coins which was desparately needed.

There were some in Seaside kingdom I just couldn't find though. The ones that lead you into that underwater passage where the 4 treasure chests are but when you get there there's no balloon? Anyone managed to find those ones? I found about 3 that were like that.

Yeah I wondered about this. As long as it's still accessible I don't actually mind, just gotta find out how. I think a lot of wall clipping is done with the flying gecko guy.

Haven't tried it yet myself but it sounds like the balloon mode is a great addition. Bit annoying about the glitch ones though - although what could Nintendo do to prevent it? Potentially have some kind of zoning system on the levels that limits where balloons can be placed?
