Super Mario Odyssey (Switch) - Best selling 3D Mario game of all time (13.76m) | VR mode coming (p79)

This looks great, loads of variety in the levels shown, gameplay looks like proper 3D Mario, I'm a little unsure about the new york level as it definitely brings back bad memories of Sonic games but other than that it looks brilliant. Will be the perfect game for Christmas.

Not liking the look of that New Donk City setting. Thankfully the other stages look more reassuringly Mario.

You realise that's not how development works right? If it wasn't ready, it wasn't ready.

Would you rather they rush it and we get a new Wind Waker or Mario Sunshine (random tagged on content and less proper content?) ^^

Urgh looks like sonic adventure. Ditch the city and it looks great.

Seems off to me. Looks like a fan made game.

How anyone can dislike a level called NEW DONK CITY is beyond me

Game looks great, and as a 3D Mario game will no doubt be fantastic

Whilst I don't trust Nintendo one bit when it comes to hardware design and marketing decisions, the one thing they still know how to do is making amazing games.

I have no doubt this will be incredible. Looks like a true successor to Mario 64 with huge playground type levels.

I think it's quite funny - Mario accidentally or whatever ending up in the real world. If done properly, it could be amazing.

The start of the trailer reminds me of Sonic Adventure

Echoe the thoughts of everyone else. Looks great except that Mario looks even more out of place amongst real humans than Sonic did!
