Yeah, I agree, it's almost certainly in the pipeline. I actually misread your post at first and thought it'd been confirmed, but yeah, thinking about it now it's such an obvious move that I totally agree it must be on the way.

HD Rumble would be absolutely great for it.

Post game spoiler below.
When you find Peach in Bowser's Castle she has a Boo fascinator as part of her Japanese themed outfit.

Crikey. What didn't you like about it?

the whole plot and final battle became a real waste of a journey imo. Beating bowser in super mario 64 was much better

It's does when the highlights catch it, it's hard to get in a still. That's clearly what it is.

Yeah, that's definitely what it's meant to be. If they do DLC would make a lot of sense. On the other hand could just be an Easter egg and a nod to the game.

I'm close to 700 Moons now and the more I play, the more I feel disinterested. The initial wow factor of having a new space to explore and say 10-20 moons (each level) where there are new game mechanics are fantastic.

But I'm surprised there is so much repetitive dross in each level. For Example: Wear a Costume to gain entry, Find Toad, Koopa Race, Koopa Trace, Picture Quiz, Grow Plants, Find Peach, Hit the Shiny Bird, chase the f'n rabbits to name a few, these are driving me insane and making me question my rankings of this and the other 3D Mario's.

Maybe I'll have a break before mopping everything else up.

People are playing the game too quickly. You all need to slow down, and play it over months and months, not rush through it.

I mean, you have collected seven hundred moons. It's OK to get bored eventually. :P

That's ridiculous, you shouldn't have to drag a game out over months and months to avoid repetition. They should have streamlined the moon count a little, there's too many moons that are exactly the same as each other.

I reckon it's a little peek in to how the game was made. You make your levels and then put every type of moon collection mechanic in there, then switch them on and off depending on which level it suits being in the most. I think the post game is just turning all those triggers back on and making the world's be full of everything again.

If you like taking it slow and playing a game out over months and months, good for you - but don't try to police how other people enjoy playing. I did 25+ hours of mario and feel pretty much done with it, and haven't touched it in two weeks.

I'm up to 819 moons now and I think Miguel's point about some activities being repeated more often than necessary is valid. It's still a truly brilliant game and I intend to get as close to the end as possible (skipping and volleyball though :dread: ) but it isn't flawless. Just very, very, very close.

819? What the... :fp: how many are there?!

I'm just over 400 and it's wearing thin. I'd have been happy with 250 quality moons, instead of so much repeated shite.

Hit 606 moons now and that's without touching the Moon Cubes which I've just started to do in the first World.
