It looks so good. It's all the Marios blended into the most Mario game there has ever been. Or something like that.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

Mario Odyssey Amiibo went up on Amazon this morning.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bowser-Wedding ... 9NC2C?th=1

And of course they're all sold out.

And of course they're already starting to appear on eBay for £50 a pop.

I'd laugh about it but it's crazy Nintendo don't get more criticism for this? What did they get that massive fine for around the time they sold Rare? Was it anti competition practices or something? I wish the EU or somebody would investigate their behaviour for this kind of gooseberry fool.

No doubt content will be locked behind this stuff in the game as well that's impossible to get any other way.

Oh well I've got a full set of Zelda Amiibo cards on the way. I think when this happens for the Champion Amiibo I'll just start making my own.

strawberry float Nintendo and their bullshit. I don't even want these particular Amiibo but I'd hate to be a parent to a Mario loving kid this Christmas.

Edit: They do appear to have restocked other Amiibo at Amazon this morning, including the smash Link, so I found you want Epona or to make a quick buck I'd move now before they're gone.

Well it's a good job I still have a couple of empty Ntag 215 cards sitting unused..

Have they actually said what Amiibo will do in the game?

Leaked list of worlds from Neogaf

Metro Kingdom
Sand Kingdom
Wooded Kingdom
Luncheon Kingdom
Cap Kingdom
Cascade Kingdom
Seaside Kingdom
Mushroom Kingdom
Snow Kingdom
Lake Kingdom

Hoping Mushroom Kingdom is a collection of remastered Mario 64 stages :)

I'd like the Mario Odyssey Amiibo, shame it's so hard to track down. Jim Sterling did a good episode on why Amiibos are being ruined by Nintendo's short supply policy (see Snes mini)

I'd prefer a larger Mario figure in his awesome new white suit.

Wish my image sig would work

I see the UK is getting shafted over the bundle again as it doesn't even include the carry case. At £330 with no physical copy of the game you're paying a daft premium for red joycons.

Still not seeing the hype for this. Bizarre art style, not even close to looking as nice as Galaxy.

This looks great, if it's basically Mario Galaxy 3 with larger worlds then I'm happy. Will get a Switch for this. Not long now....

Agree. It's Mario America! Brash, vulgar, in-your-face tasteless. Lacks all finesse/subtlety. Hopefully the gameplay will obliterate the dreadful art 'style'.

I'll say it again

The art style clearly varies by world

Nah. Just watched the direct through again - with no distracting sound on - and it's pig ugly from beginning to end.
