It would be a real shame if we didn’t get some DLC. A level from Mario 64 or Sunshine would be great! But I agree it seems very unlikely. But then what are Nintendo working on at the moment ?

Odyssey 2, as mentioned before I think Nintendo will follow what they done with Galaxy and work on a direct sequel to Odyssey with new kingdoms but keeping the same core mechanics and building on them.

I would like to see a sequel to Super Mario 3D World before an Odyssey sequel. That’s assuming they can only produce one mario game at a time though. Otherwise get on with both.

I want all Mario 64 and sunshine levels as dlc. In fact I'd take those two as a standalone game with no complaints.

Well, I think they'll probably have a 2D Mario/new Mario Maker in the works at the moment too. The 2D Mario games sell big numbers, bigger than the 3D games at times, and assumingly are much cheaper to make.

The logical thing to do for me would be to scrap the art style used in NSMB, and then that can be the selling point of a Mario Maker 2 down the line.

What if they either done DLC or based the next game around kingdoms that represent other Nintendo IP? Hyrule Kingdom for instance with mini dungeons where you complete puzzles then a boss to gain moons!

And finished. Excellent game with a lot of post credits content. Some really tough moments and some serious challenges to come but overall just right and exceptionally charming.

This is really quite something, isn’t it? :datass:

Cascade Kingdom 15/25 Moons so far. I haven’t travel to the next World yet.

I'd love to 100% this like I did with Mario 64 many years ago but some of the moons are exceptionally tough. The moon that can be bought from a shop.... Are they infinite? As I bought 30 And it keeps letting me go back for more.

It seems like it.

A great sense of discovery in this (if a little bare at times).

Oh and the Broodals have got to be the worst character designs Nintendo have ever done, the Rabbids have more personality. RABBIDS.

Worse than the Rabbids, seriously? They may not win any awards but the Rabbids make the Broodals look like strawberry floating Shaft!

This game.

I’ve just started and on the second world. The scope of the worlds is amazing.
