Someone added Don't Stop Me Now to the new Smash commercial and it syncs up perfectly to the point where it looks deliberate:

> "Shooting star leaping through the sky" - Kirby flying through the air
> "Defying the laws of gravity" - Samus, Pikachu and Marth floating in slow motion while avoiding Mewtwo (who can levitate)
> "I'm burning through the sky yeah, two hundred degrees, that's why they call me Mr Fahrenheit" Pokémon trainer unleashing Charizard
> "I want to make a supersonic man outta you" - Sonic on screen fighting
> "I'm having a ball" - close up shot of Smash ball in inkling's eye
> "like Lady Godiva" - Isabella followed by Peach and Zelda on screen
> "Travelling at the speed of light" F-Zero racer, Captain Falcon on screen

Genius marketing by Nintendo I think.

That is terrific! The ending perhaps needs a touch lower music volume but, barring that, it could be a wonderful advert!

Pretty good way of avoiding paying for the rights to use the song though...

Deliberately sync the video up, release it with no music and tip someone off to add the music, internet delights and gets shared everywhere....

Less than two weeks. Game has already leaked from early adopters which sucks.

Decided to hold off buying the new controllers too since I've read too many inconsistencies with them. Tempted to dish out for a custom one tho >,>

Pretty much everything is leaking from the pirate data miners so anyone not wanting spoiled on stuff might want to watch out on Youtube.

Can anyone at least let me know if the theory about fighters not being spirits is confirmed or debunked from this? I thought I saw a Samus Aran spirit, but as the picture wouldn't load, I only saw the name in a list from a little while back so it's likely raw bullshit.

there are things called fighter spirits which work differently and there are spirits of the fighters in alternate forms as it were ie kaptain k.rool

Don't forget though, Mewtwo already had a trophy in Smash Wii U and he got in just fine. I don't think a JPEG would deconfirm a character. This game looking pretty sexy though, can't wait to get my hands on it. Hope the combo game is as good as we've seen thus far.

I used to like Kirby on N64 and Melee, but I feel you just get batted around too much. I'm sure I'll give him a try at some point. I tend to play most characters outside of the anime sword people, so that's a good 2/3rds of the roster.
