So far every spirit I have faced I have beat. I had trouble with the toughest being that wind level until I got a resist wind Spirit... Until now. I have been trying on and off for 2 days and I cannot beat Dr Wily, the 8 Metal Mega Man strawberry floaters are doing my nut

I had trouble with that one for a while. Spirit abilities like Metal Killer and the ones that heal you for every KO help (or stamina up I guess). I was close to giving up on it again, but then I picked up one of the beam swords that drop (as DK) and just started spamming forward-smash and metal mega mans seemed to have a problem getting in or retaliating. Got close to dying, but then when you finally fight Dr Mario at the end of the match it's easy because he's not spamming projectiles. And of course the franklin badge helps but it doesn't last forever.

Been enjoying Falco in this game. He seems better in every way compared to his last appearance. His down-air is back to its former glory.

I found that Kirby's up B can combo into itself against metal characters in stamina. It's how I did a legendary metal Bayo one, too. Just equip metal killer and get in. Works a charm as long as you don't go too far off course.

Picked up the trial online pass. I found most games to be pretty smooth, with the 1v1 games completely lag free. But my god I am just horrible at this game.

I used to be really good at Melee and Brawl but the these years without playing Smash or any other fighting game has left me utter gash. That or my reaction time has gone to gooseberry fool since turning 30. :cry:

Still, was happy to beat that spirit board Starfox legendary earlier. The sudden stat boosts get pretty nasty. :dread:

I've set my Switch with LAN now which has improved my wifi a ton, but it's still not perfect. It's the best I got for now. Played a bit yesterday and was all round pretty decent. Now time to reach Elite with all my characters >,>

Nearly done with solo Classic Mode (got all characters beaten up to Villager on the character selection), got to Elite Smash as Toon Link, did good bulk of Adventure mode, on 900~ spirits and still felt like I've got good bulk of it left.

I still miss trophies but spirits is fantastic

I've been on the Spirit Board a lot more than I thought I would have. Going through the fights and managing a party of them to overcome the odds is a lot of fun, and the fact the countdown isn't long means there's always something to fight.

I think I'll soon be able to tackle legends with little problem soon.

No idea on exact points but I got it as Toon Link and I have over 1.4mil GSP, when my Ness was bout 1.3mil~ and wasn't part of Elite.

Classic mode progress; just newcomers left to do and that'll be Solo classic beaten with every character! Would need go back to Snake though for no continue run challenge panel...

Despite my frustrations with it it's honestly my favourite Smash for Classic Mode.
