That was a great look at content, and its certainly leaving some surprises for later.
This really is the Ultimate in Smash.

I was expecting the game to launch with 70 characters but they went and added 5 more today to bring the number to 69 I think.

Exeggutor, the fecking Moon, and that final character were my moments of the Direct. And that hidden mode. Liking the Final Smash Meters too.

That was... incredible!

I'm not a Smash fan - I barely know anything about it - but that was totally impressive. The game has a ridiculous amount of content; so many characters, 200+ stages and 800 music tracks :shock:

. The setup and play options have massive depth and, overall, I'm just amazed that all the information will fit onto a Switch cart.

I've barely played Smash before but the sheer amount of stuff in this game is tempting me to give it a go.

I'm 100% confident after today that Ken is going to be added as a Ryu echo.

I’m not the biggest fan of third-party characters in all honesty, but Belmont is closer to Nintendo than most. And Rathalos just appeared in the Ninty-exclusive Monster Hunter Stories. They are at least close enough to Ninty, unlike fecking Snake.

They’re keeping minimal stuff secret this time, which is a slight dampener. We’ll get one more Direct explaining the blurry things on the menu, and I’d expect another couple of characters there!
