Thought it would be an interesting rule to shake things up and make it a bit fairer on weaker players against players who maybe excel at one particular character.

I would have thought weaker players would only have experience with one or two characters whereas the greater knowledge of fundamentals by experienced players will allow them to stomp newer players.

I think making people use different characters is a great idea. I expect videos of these matches!

Maybe you're right, but it does throw in a bit more of an unknown element which can bring up surprises. This doesn't have to be a one off, we can always do another tournament afterwards where you can stick with your main.

It's a great idea to do different characters, I know I keep singling out Shalashaska ( :lol:

) but I can tell you now he would win if he was just playing with Vega. The man is a machine

Close games there Mockmaster! Good games. The 360 players are a different class to the PS3 players on here

Congrats KJ, some great games there, some were very close. Nice to have taken it to all 5 fights.

The results:

KJ 3 - 0 Mockmaster (Vega vs Guile)
KJ 2 - 3 Mockmaster (Ryu vs Honda)
KJ 3 - 2 Mockmaster (Gouken vs Bison)
KJ 2 - 3 Mockmaster (Akuma vs Ryu)
KJ 3 - 0 Mockmaster (Ryu vs Chun-Li)

KJGarly wins 3-2 and advances!!

I'm kicking myself slightly for picking Chun-Li for that final battle and then being decimated, as she's always a bit of an x-factor with me, but I fancied my chances nonetheless and paid for my cockyness by being destroyed. Taking nothing away from Garly, the best man definitely won.

I couldn't actually hear what you were saying through your mic so apologies if I seemed unresponsive.

Thanks for the friendly games afterwards, they were very enjoyable!

I realised my mic was on mute when messaging you, and then in game you probably couldn't hear me because I removed the sponge from the end of the mic so unless I'n holding it directly in front of my mouth I don't think you can hear me. Cheers for the games again, look forward to the next round.

I'll play if Brer can't due to lag. ^^

All i remember was losing alot, the only character id ever used up til then was a shitty flowchart ken

I can't play you because you lag so much, playing you is like trying to play with a 10 second delay on inputs.

I'm better since then anyways.

If it's causing that much of an issue then yeah, maybe Staydead should jump in, up to you though.
