If you look at what the ps4 pro can still achieve, horizon forbidden West, ratchet and clank, God of war ragnarok - then the prospect of the next switch being on par with this is great.

Haven't Square been disappointed by Rebirth sales? Would make sense to try to get it onto as many platforms as possible although won't that be a big ask of Switch 2?

Yeah but Remake was on PS4, whereas Rebirth is only on PS5 to date.

Yeah, with the rumoured specs Switch 2 would be able to run a version of rebirth. It might be scaled back a bit compared to other console versions (30fps, some graphical effects toned down) but it shouldn’t be a major issue.

Yeah but Remake was on PS4, whereas Rebirth is only on PS5 to date.

Yeah there would likely be a split between how cross-gen and current gen games could run, but I imagine Rebirth will get ported to PC at some point next year though, which might make a Switch version more viable.
