Interestingly, this was the main aspect of the image I was worried about the most, whether the people appear as a point of interest and not just specks.

It's weird to think this thread is literally a decade old, always being posted in on and off. Half the images from the first forty pages are dead links.

Focused more on filming rather than still photos for this, went there a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely amazing...

Trying to figure out that flying thing. Bird? Some sort of glider?

It's a seagull, side-on and mid-flap.

It's a strawberry floating UFO. I zoomed in and it's definitely of the triangular variety that those pesky gray's just love to commandeer.

About 7pm. It's lit up by my horrible patio light (the hedgehogs don't seem to mind) so the white balance needs a lot of correction.

Think they could be used as album artwork. So good.

I'm not in the same league as most here, but I do have an eye for photography - not that I think it gets my results much further than average.

Wanted to get some shots during November but had one day off in 58 days..frustrating me. All art aims fell apart. 2 more books by Christmas day and another character collection didn't get done. Wanted to find a white wall with good amount of people passing and to do more blur photos just before it gets fully dark, drop shutter speed to about 1/15. I know the conditions i found before, and got loads, going back day after day. It was a stop with trams going through.

So...Sunday, then Saturday, and Sunday day before yesterday..first time using fz330 day before yesterday despite having it for months. It is more rapid, is actually literally silent than just quiet. Has continuous burst like the canon (but faster) which is a revelation really... I don't know how many shots I've missed from being too early or too late...fz 150 had a side button on barrel that allowed you to lock on. I choose subject, lock on, people pass...during burst it tries to re focus. I like the occasional blurry image, and should want unpredictability. Really want multiple people sharing the composition who are just passing. Got one like that, and like the pattern but want cooler subjects.

Went to a Martin Parr exhibition at Manchester gallery, his best stuff is really great. So clean, colourful, distinctive. His new stuff taken in Manchester over last few years and this summer...like stock photos of the city really. Here's me meeting a barber. Here's some scientists. Visitors allowed to leave messages on cards were writing a lot of 'very sanitized..where's the homeless?'.

I had no idea about this building before so I looked it up and I will have to visit, architecturally it looks like nothing I have ever seen before

I worry about you guys not watermarking these.

Especially Suffocate Peon.

It wouldn't take much for someone to swoop in here and use them for as stock imagery for some advert or graphic design and you'd never know they were taking credit or getting paid off the back of your wonderful photos.
