This game starts off a little hard doesn't it. Only 5 Apple Gels and animals that wont heal you yet enemies inflict around 56-81HP per strike

I think that one of the boss fights gave me trouble at the start but I stopped playing more because I was bored, not because it was hard*. By the time I'm done with Xenoblade, it'll be close to Christmas so I'll be starting Xillia 1. I enjoyed playing Graces f last Christmas, which actually became my favourite Tales game, so I'm looking forward to starting a new one.

Lloyd Irving took all my team out in 2 seconds flat

Was annoyed at first than realized it was part of the game to die. Also I was glad because I prefer Lloyd to this annoying pussy of a character

Marta has left the party, Marta has joined the party, Marta has left the party, Marta has joined the party

The problem with dotnw isnt bosses but some of the easy enemies. Never before have i played a tales game where your charcters stand back and watch while every enemy heads in your direction and attacks you to death. Its improssble to block against the many little strawberry floaters

Why do tales games keep putting you in battles you are meant to die in??? I mean i wasted so many items trying to stay alive when all i ha to so is put the controller down :x

They probably exist for two reasons. To make the bosses seem powerful (which makes a change to most RPG's where you only fight the big bad when you are already strong enough to beat them). The second reason is so people who are really good at these games can win the un-winnable battles and show off.

I bet someone has beat it, there's always someone. Like those people who can beat* Yggdrasil on the first try in Tales of Symphonia (* the battle automatically ends if you deal a set amount of damage to him).

Last chapter now. People say this is a 25hr game well i've just hit 40hrs and I am only level 56.

Done all the side quests so far despite them being boring as gooseberry fool and repeated again and again! Just the S ones to do but they are too hard for me at the moment and recommend 80+ level. Then again I did the A ones 10 levels under the recommended level.

Sidequest aside I am enjoying the storyline. The game maybe the weakest of the lot but I have enjoyed most of it.

Finished first playthrough and probably only. Good game but still weakest of the Tales games I have played.

Why in every hard boss in tales games do your casters stand right next to an enemy who can instant kill :fp:

45hrs Finished around level 60 for both Emil and Marta. My monsters were around 99

PLAY | Persona 3 Reloaded [3h]
WATCH | Ted Lasso S3, HiJack S1, Red Dwarf S4, Dexter S2
RACE | Chew Valley 10k (June), GNR (Sept), Cardiff Half (Oct)
