Is it an eye rimmed with fire, glazed, yellow as a cat's, watchful and intent, with the black slit of the pupil opening into a pit, a window into nothing?

While it could look better, certainly the animations of the Hobbits, it doesn't look Amico bad

High praise 8-) .

I just watched that trailer and I thought the game looks decent. It is clearly designed to run on Switch and the styling - and gameplay elements - really remind me of Disney Dreamlight Valley. These types of games are often popular on Switch and so I can understand why that is the target system. I'm not too knowledgeable about Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit but I'll keep an eye on this.

I guess you could say you'll be scouring the Shire for more information.

This seems like it should be a mod. I don't see how any of the LOTR stuff is anything but cosmetic, but if they start throwing in missions with orcs and Nazghul it won't be very cosycore anymore!

This would be amazing honestly.

Not even DLC, just an update. One day you load up your nice cosy farming game to find it completely ruined.

If they're going to do an everyday-life take on the Shire, I hope it at least acknowledges that most Hobbits are petty, gossiping, two-faced little Tories.

(Maybe I don't "get" cosy games but I really think that would be more fun than making them all cutesy.)

New quest: Your neighbour has shown you up by having a more bountiful garden. Scour through 12 generations of their family tree in order to link them to a disreputable hobbit from the past and spoil their reputation.

I agree, a social sim where all your neighbours are petty, two-faced, social climbers, seems like a really entertaining concept, albeit probably very difficult to execute. This on the other hand appears to be an Animal Crossing reskin for people who have a Hobbitcore Pinterest page.

The whole game revolves around Ted Sandyman getting pissed in the Green Dragon, whilst calling Dwarves racial slurs and moaning that the Thain has "dangerously Elvish beliefs".
