Religious Education

Religion is generally gooseberry fool. So much like the great L Ron Hubbard i've decided to create a new one that we can all get on board with: GRcadianityismology

Some basic outlines to this new religion.

There are a number of Gods and deities that we worship:

Steve - Mighty creator of the known realm
Garth - Son of Steve sent to us to enlighten us all
Gecko, Winckle and Karl - Archangels that keep the world ticking over

Then there were the loyal disciples of Garth;
Eighthours, Mafro, Mockmaster, PsychicSykes, Parksey, KK, Albear, Jay Adama and Buffalo

These disciples are now like this religion's version of priests, but with less child molestation practices.

Legend states that eons ago there was a happy community of people, but then one day the Old Gods got restless and decided to destroy the world. They offered the community the chance to uproot from what they knew and convert to their new regime. Move to new lands populated by sinners and Americans. It looked gloomy, but then one of the old Gods, Steve, gave hope to all. Using his might and wisdom he was able to create a new land for his people. One that the vengeful Gods had no control over. Thus GRcadianityismology was born.

Rules:

Like all religions there are some rules to abide to, much like the 10 Commandments. But a few less:

Thou shall not troll
Thou shall not use the “it was a joke” defends
Thou shall not make wild claims without reliable sources to back them up with during DISCUSSIONS
Thou shall not wipe standing up
Thou shall not put bread in the fridge
Thou shall have a wank

Drinking alcohol is permitted so long as it is larger, as in the drink larger.

Gambling is permitted too. In fact Poker is highly recommended. However Aftertiming is strictly forbidden.

Marriage and fidelity isn't too much of a concern. As a wise prophet once said “Plough her, worry about the relationship technicalities later.” A traditional GRcadianityismology marriage would involve the groom shitting on his bride's tits as part of the ceremony. And instead of engagement rings the couple get matching tattoos on their feet.

Holy Days:

Like other religions we also have holidays that are celebrated throughout the year.

Mid June - fEstival of gam3s - This period of time can last up to a week where we celebrate and get hyped over upcoming and newly announced videogames.

Aug 15 - GRcade Day - A public holiday to celebrate the creation of GRcade

Sept 11 - KKLEIN Day - A day to celebrate and appreciate the disciple Kklein, breaker of news. On this day it is important for everyone to wear their KKLEIN masks

Dec 25 - Christmas - Sort of like your standard Christmas its a time to remember that special guy who first appeared on this day a long time ago in a faraway land; John McClane. We'll never forget who you once were. It's traditional for people to swap signatures during this period which can make things difficult when needing to sign contracts or important documents.

Beliefs:

The core beliefs held by GRcadianityismology is to treat everyone fairly and with respect. Apart from those weirdos that get off to Japanese cartoon porn, they're fair game to ridicule.

If you would like to learn more about this religion you’ll need to ascend to the next level - a bluehat. You can do so by making a donation of £25,000 or more.

To vote for your favourite work, you will need to send a PM to me entitled "Task of the Week - Vote ****" with the **** being the name of the person that you feel deserves to win.

Voting is open to everybody (whether they were part of this game or not) and you have until 23.59 on Friday 18 December 2015 to get your vote to me. The only rule is that you are only allowed one vote (I will only accept your first) and that (if you have an entry for the final) you are not allowed to vote for yourself.

I will then announce the winner on Saturday morning.

This thread can be used for discussion ([DISCUSSION]) of the entries and for the final remaining pupils to beg for votes.

Good luck.

Vote Rax, I literally bled when doing this, which means I bled for GRcade. I also burned myself and got some plastic in my eye, maybe I shouldnt be allowed near power tools. Anyway, vote Rax, mine has pretty lights on it.

My vote will be for one of Dan or Rax (haven't decided yet). I liked all the submissions but theirs were top notch.

As much as I liked Karl's drawing of Mocky banishing MCN, I must vote for Rax's brilliant modded 360 as it must have taken ages to do.

Edit: this was meant to be a PM :fp:

This looks to me like a clear case of Rax bullying Ironhide and Ironhide being desperate to show Rax that he will vote for him.

Disgusting, this is not a school that will tolerate such behaviour from pupils and Rax will be warned that threats to "flush 'eads down the effing toilet" will not go unpunished.

You will not be docked points but you will have to visit MCN to recreate Karl's picture in person.

On the plus side, it means I get to dress as Optimus Prime.

No, no, no. Dressing up as Optimus Prime and staring at my naked body is not a punishment.
