He should have waited, but I bet he couldn't imagine that Kiell would respond so quickly and accurately

Jenny in the boat was great as well, hard to believe somebody can crash that often.

Yeah, Kiell was lightning-quick there. But I suppose he couldn't do much else once his bucket was gone! Jenny was very canny to just chuck her last item on the floor instead of risking knocking her bucket off at the last moment.

The first episode of the season didn't really do it for me (I didn't think the barge or dance tasks were all that), but enjoyed last night's a lot.

Big fan of the Frankie/Ivo team dynamic.

I needn’t have worried. She’s been delightful, especially in the potato hat task.

I agree. But her and Frankie should have been disqualified.

Greg is way too easy going these days. In the earlier series he'd have happily kicked them both out and there's no way he'd have given 5 points for a dead dad story. ;)

Potato Hat task is one of those tasks I'd love to try, right up there with the barge jousting one.

For the bubble wrap, my instinct was the same as Frankie’s.

Oh god, Ivo’s shed error!

That was brilliantly done. The decision over Mae’s “throw” was wrong, though. By the definition Alex looked up, every jerk of the string was a new propelling of the ball, so she “threw” it many times.

Just fyi, Mae's pronouns are they/them

Yeah the throw thing annoyed me as well. Definitely repeatedly threw the ball by the definition. The other contestants really could have argued that better.

By the way does anyone listen to the ed gamble taskmaster pod cast? It's a great listen after each new episode.
