Bloke from my year at school died a few months ago from a heart attack that was almost certainly caused by drug abuse.
He was a bully at school (I remember him stealing one of my friend's shiny Pokémon cards
), he was in prison for armed robbery within a year of leaving, he used to boast on Facebook about fights he'd been in fairly regularly, he was always in court fighting to gain rights to see his son and he was one of those melters always posting pictures of himself wearing a vest in the gym.
Of course, when he died it turned out he was the town angel who always brought out the best in people, an inspiration to everyone who had the pleasure to meet him.
He was a banana split and quite frankly the world is a better place without him in it.
A guy in my year died probably close to 10 years ago now. He was driving home from a nightclub many times over the limit (both alcohol and speed) and ended up spanking his car into a post. He and his passenger (a female) died at the scene.
Of course the outpouring of grief on social media was just tremendous, despite the fact that he was: a banana split, a bully at school that used to routinely intimidate people who weren't "cool", a thief who stole my
CD player and at best strawberry floating irresponsible when it came to driving safety. I didn't laugh, smile or jump for joy when I found out, but I certainly didn't dwell on it for longer than a few seconds. Sometimes karma does catch up with the bellends.
